We have a long running joke in our family about San Antonio. We went there over 5 years ago with Super-E who was then, 3 years old. While we were there, the poor guy was so confused wanting to know when we were going to meet San & Tonio!! So now we have a couple of good friends who are currently living in San Antonio, or with San & Tonio, we joke.
We went for 4 days and 3 nights and had so much fun. Our kids played together and we stayed up late talking and laughing. It’s so goods to do this every once in a while. Reconnecting with good friends, remembering good times. I must have slept almost 12 hours last night recovering from staying up way too late, getting up too early (kids!) and all of our go, go, going. So worth it though.
i love that! family stories are the best, especially when they can laugh at their younger selves.

Hehehe, when Z was little he wanted to know who “Lauren & Kevin” were… after he overheard a friend say “Lord in Heaven”. Those little funny memories will last for years and years! More relevant to your post, I miss Texas. San Antonio is so beautiful. =)
