I’ve been working on my postcards for iHanna’s postcard swap. I was only able to complete one today, but all the rest are half way done.
I made a 5 x 7 cardboard template and traced the size onto Canson’s Mixed Media paper. Then I added bits of scrapbook paper and magazine with matte medium. I used the cardboard template again to trace and cut out the postcard pieces. Now they are all ready for a bit of paint, pencil and whatever else I decide to add on. I’ll sew around the edges when I’m done, because I LOVE sewing paper with my machine.
Did you join the swap? 280 people signed up, which means that 2800 postcards will be made and sent out! That’s just awesome.

beautiful postcards and I love your new header too. By the way, I need to check out your etsy shop but I have to say that I loved the prints that I ordered from you. Awesome! I have all three hanging together in my kitchen. They are so bright and make me smile each time I see them. I’d love to have a set of cards with your prints on them to share with friends and family.
