working on trades

So if you are in your feed reader, please ignore my test posts that I deleted, but are now on the readers forever. I was trying to figure out how to post from my new WP app on my phone.  It’s really weird that those deleted posts won’t just disappear. My IT guy tried, but no luck.

Anyway, I got some trades done. They will be magnets and paperclip bookmarks.  I glued some vintage cotton ribbon onto 1″ wood discs, added words and little sparkles and then coated with glass glaze. This glass glaze is awesome! Much better than diamond glaze, which has troublesome bubble problems.

These larger discs will be brooches. I plan on adding sayings, instead of one word, still adding the sparkle and glaze.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  It was a crazy 93 degrees here in sunny southern AZ.

I love those discs; they are so appealing-looking, especially in bulk like that! I have never heard of the glass glaze. Thanks for mentioning it, as well as it’s improvement over the diamond glaze.

Just ordered the glaze- thanks for the tips! Also the test posts didn’t show up on my google feed either, so that’s good!
Those brooches are going to be gorgeous- we need to do a trade sometime!

You have been very busy here! The warmth of Arizona wounds heavenly. We are hoping to hit 50 degrees sometime this week – maybe.

These are so cute! I don’t really wear brooches but I’d love to sport one of these on a bag or coat. I love what you are coming up with. Fashionista!
