wander

My traveling art journal was finally sent after a long spell of blank-first-page syndrome.  I tend to skip the first blank page of all my sketch pads and journals because of some irrational fear of messing up the first page, therefore the whole entire journal.  I know, I know.  But I did it– Tackled the first page.

I wrote the instructions with white ink on the inside cover,  then there is a cool little pocket on the inside of the back cover that I filled with fun scraps of paper for people to use if they like.  Now, it has been sent and I am half way done with working out the itinerary for all the participants.  Yipee!  So happy to get this going.

How great that you got your travel-journal out into the world! What a treat when it gets back! And your round-themed illustration is very cute! 🙂

I guess my head is all the way into Christmas because I immediately started singing “I wonder as I wander out under the sky…” Your journal is beautiful!

The journal looks great…I can’t wait to see it in person. It is so exciting to hear that it is “out on the road” already. The white writing on black looks really great, and I love your flying bird figure; it really caught my daughter’s eye, too!
