I’m tired and sick. So, an oldie but goodie for this week. I call her my Tea Time Dreamer. This is what I wish my morning tea was like. Relaxing and quiet. She is drinking Chai tea which is my second favorite to green tea.
Acrylic on canvas. I just realized that 5 of the 8 paintings hanging in my craft room have yellow backgrounds. Do you think I might have a thing for yellow? Hmmmmm.

Yellow is a very positive colour … I surround myself in the workplace with yellow and it works! LOVE your painting … dreamy and beautiful!

I love the richness of the paintings withg the yellow background. i don’t know it the color is accurate on the web, but I see it as a deep, earthy yellow. With that big plant and the view outside, I get such a feeling of warmth and lushness. This is a lovely painting:>

The girl in the painting looks a little tired too! Beautiful colors, interesting colors, love the teacup. I like the way the flower leans the same way as she. Yellow ochre, can’t paint without yellow ochre. Yellow is a happy, warm color, just like you…hope you feel better. “yellow” wishes being sent from the pear.

Your painting is charming and gives me a feeling of relaxation. Even the red flowers seem to be leaning a bit, as if in an echo of the girl’s pose. Hope you feel better soon. I just got over a nasty bug myself.

Hi! Thanks for the comment and for planning on being a regular on the Midweek Munchies…I am already planning my list…mostly because I shopped yesterday but I will be going to another store today for some other stuff.
Yup! It’s a free for all the only thing I hope to see each week is the shopping list but anyone can branch out from there…I have heard a few people mention they were going to post recipes, meal plans, or starter ideas, ask questions or for suggestions, etc. What ever you would like to try to come up with would be great!!!

Boy, this looks relaxing. I can tell by this painting that you’re a tea drinker. I am a Chai fan as well as black and green teas. Nice warm colors, great setting – this one’s a winner!
