A peak into my food space

I just went shopping at my local grocery store and at my local WFM. I bought tons of stuff and hopefully won’t have to shop again (except for little stuff) for at least another 10 days!

This week I thought I’d let you take a peak into my frig, freezer and pantry. Now, don’t get all excited when you see that not everything is VEGAN. My husband is still a vegetarian (meaning he still eats dairy & eggs occassionally), but I’m not getting into that. Let’s just say that he is practically a vegan because I am the one who does all the shopping & cooking and that we both thoroughly respect eachother’s decision to eat how we eat. Anyway, my house is jam packed with lots of yummy eats!

I also bought a potted mint plant and a cinnamon basil plant. I can’t even tell you how delicious they both smell. I have never heard of cinnamon basil before. I’m planning on using in a salad of some kind. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

If you have any questions about anything you see here, what something is, or how I use it, please feel free to ask. I’m always happy to share.

I can’t remember are you vegan or vegetarian. I want to do one of my recipes with that in mind. 🙂

  3. Please tell me you straightened up before taking the pictures. You are putting me to shame! Though I like to eat healthy, and without insulting veganism, how can you not have any chips or even tortilla chips, and cookies, not one devil dog or swiss roll. FLUFF even. I don’t even see any sugar. What about the guests you have that need a tad of sugar in their joe or tea?

My mom actually makes potato chips by baking them. And tortilla chips out of wraps. I would feel like I was at a weight loss spa when visiting you!!!!!! And it would do my body good. LOL, LOL, LOL! Gut splitting laughter here.
I need to go eat a yogurt now.

In case you are wondering, there is a blogger out there that started a CANDY SWAP, and I didn’t join or even think of that. But you gotta live with some fat and sweets.
