I finally got around to making this water bottle carrier. The very wonderful and easy to follow tutorial is Kathy’s at Pink Chalk Studio. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it and just had to make it. It works perfectly with my new stainless steel water bottle and it keeps my water colder longer (because of the Insul-Brite). I take it everywhere with me now, even to work, so that I can stay hydrated and reduce the use of styrofoam cups that they have there (yuk!).
I worked the last three nights, got home this morning and slept for 3 hours- this is so I can go to bed at a normal hour tonight. So, if this post sounds a little “dingy”, it’s because I feel a little “dingy”. Even though I could probably fall asleep right now on this key board, I can’t- I have tons to do. It’s birthday season in my family. It all starts with my sister and her new hubby (happy birthday you two:)), and it doesn’t stop until February. Then of course there is Halloween and Christmas crafts to be done. I’m not complaining. I love this time of the year, but what’s a working mama to do? I guess I’ll just have to stop sleeping. So, if my posts start turning into jibberish, you’ll know why.

Opps, sorry. That was my head hitting the keyboard.
You could never be “dingy”!!!!! And where did you find a stainless steel water bottle? Love the idea of it. That is gorgeous, and could definately use one for my walks around the neighborhood with the kiddos. Love the fabrics/patterns you used too.
Get some sleep or your forehead is going to get all bruised up. They need you at your work! Somehow the crafting will get done, but take care of YOU!
This put a huge smile on my face. Beautiful!
I Muuuuusst make one straight away!!
love the water bottle carrier- so bright and cheerful!
hope you get some rest soon… look after yourself too! Although I know that a good crafting binge can also be quite rejuvenating…
I like the looks of this better than most of the commercial ones. Water bottle cases are an important thing since the majority of water bottles are only a single wall design with no insulation.
