I’ve been in need of another bag for quite a while. I mostly use this old one that I made last year. This new one is made from scrap pieces I received from the patchwork swap and the Fall swap. How nice to use what I have and what others have given me. The little side pocket (blue w/ brown polka-dots) is strictly for my phone, so I don’t have to hunt for it when it rings. The straps are extra long (42″) so that I can cross it over my shoulder and the lining is an old plain blue pillow case–a light color so I can actually see what is in my bag.
And see the pretty embroidered button? It was made by Kristin for the embroidered button swap. So you see, it’s got a lot of crafty blog love sewn right in.
That is a great bag! I love the button, it’s the perfect extra detail!
oh yay!! i love seeing my little button put to use like that 🙂
hello there, i love your bag, and the button. Gorgeous. Love the blog, by the way!
Love the new bag! The side pocket for your phone is a great idea…. I am always searching for mine & it usually ends up at the very bottom:)
I love the patchwork on the bag! Just learning how to do that! Have been wanting to learn how to do those buttons too~
