I had a sudden urge to bead today. Maybe it is because I keep looking at earrings on Etsy and wanting all of them.
I also decided it’s time to wear earrings again. I stopped when I had my little guys in my arms all the time with those little hands ready to yank them off at any second. My little guys are bigger now, much, much too heavy for me to carry everywhere. So much so, that when I tried to heave my little one into his car seat this morning, I hurt my back. Maybe I shouldn’t be heaving him, huh? This is the kind of thing that happens every time daddy goes out of town! Hmph!!
Any-hoo, I have about as many beads as I do buttons. I was really into beading when I was in college and now only bead occasionally. I still have this big bunch of beads I bought over a year ago that I have barely touched. It’s so nice to sit, quietly concentrating on pretty bead combinations. I must remember that!
Well darnit now I’m inspired too! 😀
Will you be posting process tutorials? Some of us (cough cough) would love that!
Love your combinations – especially the coppery ones and purple ones in the middle. And the red ones, and the butterfly beads….gosh darn they are all so yummy!!! Makes me want to get my beads out – plus the ones I just inherited from Hubby’s grandmother.
I have more beads than I’m willing to admit to. Trouble is, I’ve never really ‘been into’ beading, but I want to be. lol
How great to be able to make jewelery on a whim! And you are so super organized!
Those are really nice. I just found my jewelry making stuff in a box of crafty-ness. I need to get around to making something!
By the way, your monster towel is featured here, so you can pick up a halloween “I Was Featured” button if ya want 🙂
Keep up the cool stuff!

Ok, now I want to pull out the bead stash too! Very cute collection. I love earrings, it’s really the only jewelry I wear, and it’s so much easier to make them (at least the simple ones I like) than I ever would have thought. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love what you made! So cute.
Cute, cute, cute!! Love those blue and red ones. I too have started wearing them again after the baby years. I also have a bead stash that’s gone untouched for over a decade. Hmmmm, maybe I ought to pull it out. Probably need some hardware though… I’m still trying to find my groove after going back to work – that is the keeping up with housework, cooking, and oh, a little arts and crafts now and then groove.
Ooooh nice little earrings you did. Are you gonna sell some? Anyways they’re cute enough for that.
