Learning to fly

Open Wings

“Open Wings”

Remember how I picked the word “open” for my word of the year? Well, its still floats around with me every where I go. Lately, I’ve been feeling like my wings are opening more and more. But, as I stand with open wings, stretched wide, I am still afraid to leap.( Maybe next year leap should be my word.)  There are so many things I want to do to promote myself and my art, but I feel like I’m being held back–by fear, resistance, lack of knowledge on how to really do that?

As part of my goals be be open, I’ve done things like artfest and Mondo Beyondo, in hopes of growing and spreading those big wings of mine. So, when Kelly Rae posted her Flying Lessons e-course, of course, I signed up immediately.  I am really excited to get some stepping stones in place so that I can get closer to leaping.

You speak of fear in your blog and yet all I see in your work is so much zeal and courage! Perhaps it’s time to change your self perception! You are a woman of strength.. see it! I do!
