I made a little bookmark for my daily planner and thought I’d show you a peek inside.
On the full calendar page I keep my birth dates, appts, work days, meetings, etc. Then on the daily task section, I write a quote or saying that I like and doodle. My 2010 book is filled with quotes that I have found and love. It’s my little collection and I love finding more.
I needed a way to easily open to the right day. There are already tabs for the month, so that is easy, but the weeks are a little hard to get to easily, especially since there are several blank note pages as well. So, I made a little book marker that fits right into the spiral binding. This way it won’t fall out and I wont lose it. I take this little book with me everywhere!
I made the book marker on water color paper. Interesting papers on glued on and then i painted different layers and images. I punched holes, evenly spaced, down one side and then cut slits so that it would fit on the binding. I love opening to the right page now. 🙂
That’s so awesome- I’m going to make one for my planner!

Ahh, I love it! And your bookmark is super cute. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your daily planner. I love the idea of putting down doodles and quotes. I bought a daily planner this year and haven’t even cracked it open. I think I may follow your lead, and that bookmark is too cute. Happy Belated Birthday!
your doodles are amazing!
Beautiful! What a lovely way to document a year.
You are amazing. So creative, even in your daily planner. You know, you should contemplate doing the wordaday books or the 365 Day Challenge Quilt, where you write just a little blurb on a small scrap of fabric (with fabric pen, of course) and then sew them all together into a quilt. Yours would be so beautiful!
Love looking into other people’s planners. Yours is so neat, and the bookmarks a great idea!
This is a wonderful idea! I am going to use it!
