We have been bombarded with one illness after the other. I have been well the entire time (thanks to my daily green smoothies~I think) with a sniffle here and there, but nothing major. Unfortunately the boys have suffered colds, then coughing, then pink eye, then the flu. Nothing simultaneously, everything has been one child at a time, one illness at a time, with NO break. The vernal equinox is upon us in a few days, so I say we be done with all this yuckiness!
So, because of all this illness stuff and interrupted sleep for what seems like 2 months now, I have a lot of unfinished projects to complete. Like, some giveaways that need to be sent, some sewing, 2 half completed paintings, a newsletter and so many more things that make my head boggle. All I want to do is paint and get my list checked off. It will happen…
So, if you are waiting on some stuff from me, I apologize. You’ll hear from me soon.

oh, I remember the days when my son would be sick with something or the other. I had just him, so we would lay on the bed together and I’d read to him. Miss those days ~ he’s 27 now and wouldn’t be letting me do that anymore (hahaha).

I feel your pain! My boys have been playing tag-team patient, too. My stepson has had non-stop ear infections for at least 2 months, and my little one is having FUO going on 2 weeks now. My housework is suffering, but the poor little guy only wants to snuggle with mom. How can I say no? I guess spring cleaning will wait a little longer. (Oh, shucks!)
