Artfest ~ Day 1 in Seattle

I am back and fully charged with lots of creative ideas. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!  Oh, I can’t wait to share it all with you. I will be breaking it up by day, otherwise this would be the longest post EVER. I accomplished all my goals except for taking lots of pictures at Artfest. I will have to gather what I can from my new Artfest buddies. I did take some pictures of Seattle though.

I met up with Chara, of Sew Click Create. I have been blog buddies with Chara for at least 4 years and it was so fun to finally meet her. She is so incredibly sweet, bubbly and really fun and easy to talk to.  I just had a great time hanging out with her. We went to lunch and then she took me to Fabric Crush, a very beautiful store. I am hoping to make it a yearly event, to see Chara every time I go to Artfest. Next, I hope to not be so tired (with big bags under eyes). I had a 515am flight to catch that morning and had to wake up at 300am, YUK!

As I went across to Bainbridge Island on the ferry, the clouds broke away perfectly for my shots of the Seattle skyline.

Once I got over to the other side, it was pouring. It rained all the way to Port Townsend, an hour drive, then was perfectly sunny again once I reached the fort.  Magic I tell you!

I’ll be back again tomorrow to tell you about my first Artfest class.
