Today was one of those bittersweet days when you painfully, but very happily with full and proud heart, see the very hard & true evidence that your children are in fact growing, blossoming and becoming the finest of little people.
Today my oldest is now a 5th grader!!! And my baby graduated from kindergarten. Big brother got to participate in the ceremony by welcoming little brother to lower elementary. Yes, I cried. A new age begins.

I love that Dr. Seuss quote…have been trying to teach it to my kids when they cry because they have to come inside from playing outdoors, or leave a playdate, etc.

oh wow. this got me a bit teary. my oldest is just finishing up kindergarten and my little girl is going to pre-k in the fall. 🙁 so hard, but also so great to see them doing so well. xo
