coming out of the fog

hello?

Anyone still there?

Sorry for the blog abandonment, but I’ve had the flu for the last several days. Well, first we had dear friends visiting, then Papa kismet got the flu and I followed soon after. So far the kids have not gotten this awful flu (keeping fingers crossed).

I’m not 100 percent yet, but feeling a lot better. Such bad timing but I guess my body needed me to slow way down. To much fun with our friends, I guess.  I still need to finish my trades!!!!- only 5 days until artfest!!!  I’m starting to really freak out.  There was so much I had planned to do.

My sister is coming to visit tomorrow (I hope I’m much better) and then I have to work 2 of days before I leave.  Eeeeks!  Like I said, I’m really starting to freak out.

I actually do some of my best work under pressure.  But, whatever I get done, is what I get done, right?

Happy to be back.  I have more to share very soon……

  1. Sorry you were sick… but glad you’re feeling better! I can’t believe Artfest is right around the corner. In fact, the little counter you have is right next to the comment I’m leaving, and now I’m freaking out! LOL! I still don’t have my trades done either. I thought they’d be finished, but they’re just not. I might be paint penning on the airplane. See you SO soon!!!!!

So sorry you’ve been sick…it never comes at a good time, does it? You are right though: you get done what you get done…you’ll be fine! You are just so super lucky to be headed to ArtFest; don’t let anything take away from your enjoyment of THAT! 🙂

I wanted to let you know that I have blogged about one of the prints I bought from you. It is framed and hanging in my kitchen, and I love it, so I shared that little corner of my home on my blog. I hope you will come see your work! (http://andria-drawingnear.blogspot.com)

So glad you are feeling better. You have to be well for next week. I am so excited to see everyone. My trades are done and I am completing special trades for special friends. Because of your class, I have gotten the courage to try new things. I am just so happy. Take care and thanks for being my friend.

Don’t freak out… concentrate on feeling better. Whatever gets done, gets done, and the rest no one but you will ever even know about, right?! And you haven’t abandoned your blog nearly as long as I have. I’ve got to test for a pulse before I attempt a rescue! Have fun at Artfest, you take care.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better. And you’re right, sometimes we just need to slow down and when we don’t our bodies insist that we do. I’m sure whatever you complete under pressure will be fabulous!

I was just wondering this morning where you had been. Sorry to hear it was because of the flu ~ and glad to hear you’re on the mend!

I just got as message saying I was spam… So, I guess I should not have used the name of the dye I use?

My tip for you is this. Wrap the dyed hair in tinfoil. Cover your hair with a plastic grocery bag so your dye doesn’t ooze out and stain your pillow. Then sleep on it.

It will still wash out but it will stay pink a lot longer. 8*)
