I made this little art journal for my Visual Quest journey, which has been absolutely wonderful so far.
It is made with watercolor paper and the cardboard back of an old sketch pad (I always keep those). I covered the front and back with bits of paper and slathered it with lots of layers of pan. I added the hand drawn paper feather and lightly buffed the whole front and back with gold paint.
It’s all stitched together with the coptic stitch, my favorite. I love the meditative process of sliding needle through paper, over and over again.
I am now beginning to fill the pages with intuitive painting, writing and whatever pulls me to the empty pages.
this is a beautiful journal, hope it will hold many meaningful visions for you.
